Automotive Cyber Security Consultant (m/f/d)

Join DEKRA DIGITAL as Automotive Cyber Security Consultant.


  • Help our team to build and expand our cybersecurity business through customer projects. This will allow us to identify specific technical characteristics and realize them through team expansions
  • You will work with clients in an international team and will be able to shape and develop your personal focus in line with the company’s development
  • You advice on the implementation of ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R155 and ISO 24089, UNECE R156 with clients
  • You do process analysis, GAP analysis, process maturity determination
  • You prepare audit and product assessment readiness
  • The identification and implementation support of improvement potentials is also part of your tasks
  • Further you advise on specific cyber security topics in development, production, maintenance as well as product surveillance
  • If possible and if you have prior knowledge you can place specific focus on risk-management or TARA or SOC, etc.


  • University degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, mechatronics, software engineering, computer science or similar with a focus on embedded systems and/or cyber security
  • Several years of professional experience in either of the following areas in “automotive industry” (project management, testing, consulting, auditing in electrics/electronics, product and vehicle diagnostic development)
  • English as company language, German skills are a plus
  • Prior experience in cyber security topics
  • Optional experience: Cyber Security Engineering Standard ISO/SAE 21434, development and testing processes (their maturity determination and assurance), prior experience in functional safety
