Security Sales Specialist (m/f/d)

Tasks

  • Build a pipeline of relevant opportunities to deliver against your sales metrics
  • Own the full sales conversation and negotiation, through the transition of new clients to the account management team
  • Exercise accurate forecast accuracy for both high-revenue complex and transactional deals
  • Expand customer base by selling DEKRA Services to teams or locations, meeting or exceeding quarterly goals
  • Develop and drive pipeline, increase customer engagement, and receive and leverage positive customer testimonials
  • Partner with other teams to understand the needs of the customer and provide excellent customer experience, driving efficiencies and scale
  • Maintain and grow relationships to influence long-term strategic direction
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the account

Skills

  • Computer Sciences, Telecommunication Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years experience in sales cybersecurity services or products to large accounts
  • Fluent in English and fluency in another language that would be a plus
  • Available to travel internationally
  • Strong work ethic, perseverance and competitive spirit to be the best
  • Acting in the best interest of our clients/prospects and always doing the right thing
  • Continuously learning and looking for ways to improve as a sales professional
  • Proven ability to precisely manage and forecast complex sales cycles
  • Experience in securing/growing a customer base and carrying/exceeding strategic business goals would be plus
  • Experience in international markets and managing large, complex agreements would be plus
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity testing and certification services in some of these areas Common Criteria, FIPS 140-3, Penetration Testing, IEC 62443, ETSI EN 303 645, NIST IR 8259, CTIA, 5G Cybersecurity, etc., would be plus
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity regulation in some of these areas UNECE, EU Cybersecurity Act, etc. would be plus
  • Proven experience in at least two of the following sectors, Automotive, ICT, Medical, Consumer or Industrial would be plus
  • Ability to build strong and continuous relationships, selling to product managers, product owner, security experts and IT business units would be plus
